Hi, I’m Marie-Laure Roux – but feel free to call me Marlow!
I’m a French photographer living in South Africa, with over 15 years of experience capturing portraits, lifestyle shots, and all kinds of events. My love for photography started when I was a teenager, and it’s grown into a career I’m really proud of.

In 2020, I launched Marlow Photography here in the beautiful, buzzing city of Cape Town. Since then, I’ve built a small, dedicated team of talented photographers, and together we work to capture life’s most meaningful moments – big and small.

My style is personal and creative – I love telling stories through images and finding beauty in the real, unfiltered moments. Whether it's a quiet glance, a loud laugh, or a warm hug, those are the things I aim to preserve in every shot.

I’m all about making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. I'm told I have a warm, easygoing vibe, which helps clients relax and enjoy the process – and that really shows in the final photos.

From one-on-one portraits to family sessions or special events, I bring a lot of heart (and a keen eye!) to every shoot. I also offer sessions in some of Cape Town’s most stunning locations, so each experience is a little adventure of its own.
